Right before we left for Japan, I decided to take a quilting class. I was able to get everything finished before I left, so my quilt could be sent off to the long-arm quilter to be "quilted". Collette from Quiltology said she would ship it to me when it was finished - and this week it arrived!
I love it! I put it in our living room and I can't stop looking at it. The fabrics are so beautiful and the stitching from the quilting is so beautiful, too. I think I'm addicted to quilting and fabrics now, I just can't stop looking at them online to see which ones I'll get for my next quilt! I want to make quilts for everyone I know. (Don't worry Mrs. Mecher - I'll be knitting still, too!)

It's gorgeous! Great work! I am so impressed!
So beautiful! Is there anything you do junky, Abbie? May family may want to kick me out and insert you in my place since you fit in with their giftedness better!
That's beautiful! I see some amybutler fabric in there. I have just begun sewing and am making my second purse. Love it and love you!
Ok, from a guy's perspective, I love quilts. I think they are so cool and they totally remind me of my grandmother who makes some of the nicest quilts. They are super comfortable too.
I'm not worried Abbie. I took a 20 year break from knitting. Boy, am I old! The quilt is amazing! It really is a work of art. Love the colors.
Great quilt Abbie! I so want to learn how to do those!!!

WOW! I tried quilting when I lived up at camp, I liked it, but the fabrics you chose are way more exciting. I love the Amy Butler fabrics. Great Job!
